“Attitude is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than what people do or say. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill.” -Charles R. Swindoll
Very well said, but why skill too? That’s the question of the hour.
Every person works either to earn or not. We all have our own set of skills. We have our portion of stress too.
Within our lives of relentless fights, we keep moving ahead at our own pace. We work, we take breaks and we start again.
But sometimes we come to a point where we begin to feel uninterested, frustrated with what we do. Sometimes, seeing the difficulty of work, we already give up in our minds to take up the work. And sometimes, when we are not able to reach success in our tasks, we begin to break up gradually. Is this what streaming to negative attitude looks like? Absolutely!
If we switch the above cases with a positive and never give up attitude, the scenario will change. And this little change can take you miles ahead of where you are now.
To quote Hans Selye, “Adopting the right attitude can convert a negative stress into a positive one.”
On the contrary, skill was never a problem. Whether you have it or not, it can be developed with time. What you again need is a positive attitude and a bit of conviction to achieve what you want.
It is rightly said, Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.
To conclude in my own words “when minus becomes a plus, good things stop subtracting and start adding to your life.” This is what the effect of positive attitude is!
What do you say?
