Objectives/purpose of the job:

This role will oversee the efficient operations of Training and Transition (OJT) functions, encompassing the management of a team of trainers and a Transition Lead. Responsibilities extend to collaborating with operations teams to enhance performance in payment integrity projects. Additionally, the role involves crafting training content and knowledge base articles.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operations teams to identify training needs and develop programs for performance enhancement.
  • Execute effective new hire training programs to maximize throughput and performance during transitions.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain up-to-date training content for effective new hire training.
  • Perform performance management of trainers and transition leads through routine audits and feedback.
  • Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for skill and knowledge enhancement.
  • Develop training calendars for resource optimization.
  • Ensure seamless handover of new hires to production floor.
  • Maintain training and transition operations documents and data.
  • Generate periodic reports on training and quality performance.
  • Strategize with management on training and transition functions.
  • Manage new hire employees during training and transition phases.
  • Collaborate with operations, workforce, and recruitment teams for manpower planning.
  • Assist in creating compliance policies.
  • Foster a quality-oriented culture through innovative communications and training programs.
  • Establish and maintain process baselines, flows, and conduct gap analyses.

Required experience and qualification:

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, physiotherapy, homeopathic medicine and surgery, or science.
  • Minimum of 18 years' experience in US healthcare services.
  • Leadership experience (minimum 5 years) in training and transition (OJT).
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in denial management, charge posting, billing, and AR calling.
  • Certification from AAPC or AHIMA.
  • Profound coding and clinical knowledge.

  • Payer auditing experience.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical acumen.
  • Experience in new process transition or leading pilot teams.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Proven track record of results orientation.
  • Motivational and team-oriented.
  • Six Sigma certification (at least Green Belt).
