We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Customer Support Engineer to join our team in the Solar Energy industry. As a Customer Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our customers, ensuring their satisfaction and resolving any issues they may encounter. The position requires excellent communication skills, a strong technical background, and the ability to work night shifts to support our US customers. The role involves troubleshooting, handling customer inquiries through various channels, coordinating with internal teams, and documenting all activities in our CRM/Help Desk software platform.
We’re hiring for a leading NASDAQ listed company ‘Walk-in Drive on 22nd july 2023 – Customer Support Engineer’ 5-days working
- Answering inbound emails, chats, and phone calls from company customers during assigned hours.
- Conducting remote troubleshooting of company products to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Approving and executing warranty claims for customers in accordance with company policies.
- Providing pre-sales information and assisting customers with product inquiries.
- Assisting with the activation of new company sites as needed.
- Documenting all customer interactions and activities accurately in the central CRM/Help Desk software platform.
- Coordinating with company Engineering to track field issues, report product modifications, and log product bugs in the central database.
- Assisting team members with troubleshooting and administrative tasks as required.
- Adhering to departmental conventions, procedures, and standards.
- Participating in ongoing training and education to stay updated on industry standards and company-specific information.
- Professionally representing the company through all communication mediums.
- Following all company policies and standards of conduct outlined in the employee manual.
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Education: B.E/B.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks in 10th, 12th, and BE/B.Tech.
- Experience: 1-5 years of relevant experience (minimum 1 year).
- Shifts: Willingness to work night shifts and weekends to support US customers.
- Excellent Communication Skills preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Electrical Concepts (AC, DC Circuits, etc.) is desired.
- Prior experience in the solar energy industry will be an added advantage.
