Objectives/purpose of the job:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong grasp of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in Kubernetes deployment within the GCP or GitLab environment, as this is a project requirement. Proficiency in YAML scripting for GitLab CI pipelines is highly desirable. Moreover, the candidate should possess excellent automation capabilities and a knack for problem-solving.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Proven experience in DevOps roles with a focus on CI/CD methodologies.
• Demonstrable experience with Kubernetes deployments in GCP or GitLab environments.
• Proficiency in YAML scripting for CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, with hands-on experience in scripting for automation purposes.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) automation.
• Familiarity with Golang scripting is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.

Required experience and qualification:

• Execute Kubernetes deployments within the GCP or GitLab infrastructure as per project requirements.
• Utilize YAML scripting for GitLab CI pipelines, ensuring efficient and seamless integration processes.
• Employ strong automation skills to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, with a focus on reliability and scalability.
• Utilize Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management, ensuring consistency across environments.
• Utilize Golang scripting where applicable to optimize automation workflows and enhance efficiency.
