Objectives/purpose of the job:

Capability Development:

  1. Lead the development of new capabilities and extensions of existing ones for a designated product line or smaller segment.
  2. Maintain a comprehensive product feature backlog aligned with business requirements and market needs.
  3. Collaborate with Product Managers to translate business requirements into actionable product requirements.
  4. Manage capability integrations with Technical Product Managers, ensuring seamless functionality across the product.
  5. Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries from the scrum team and stakeholders.
  6. Create and approve user stories and capability features, plan sprint activities, and manage the backlog.
  7. Collaborate with Product Managers to address questions during the development cycle and manage cross-functional capability development for timely releases.
  8. Ensure product quality standards are met, and deliveries are on time and within budget.
  9. Provide input into solution design by clarifying requirements and constraints.
  10. Regularly communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on product development progress and gather feedback.

Requirement Management:

  1. Collaborate with IT and other ETS areas to define development needs/requirements.
  2. Track and manage capability development to align with stakeholder needs.
  3. Modify/change capability features and requirements based on new customer information from Product Managers.
  4. Ensure cross-functional and operational requirements are addressed.

Capability Improvement:

  1. Ensure established quality standards for capabilities are achieved.
  2. Validate that capability features align with customer needs.
  3. Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the cross-functional team to encourage creativity and problem-solving.

Required experience and qualification:

  • Strong understanding and experience in Agile frameworks, particularly Scrum.
  • Familiarity with technology and software development processes.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into features/user stories.
  • Deep understanding of user needs and behaviors for intuitive product designs.
  • Leadership, team building, and communication skills.
  • Solid management skills, including deadline management, task prioritization, issue identification, and risk management.
